Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

1. Provide medical administrative support for a busy multi specialty clinic/birth center.
2. Utilize EMR systems to input and update patient information accurately. Deliver exceptional patient service by greeting and assisting patients and visitors at the front desk.
3. Utilize multi-line phone systems to answer calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
4. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
5. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to maintain a smooth flow of office operations.

Qualifications (preferred but not required)

1. Medical administrative experience
2. Patient service experience
3. Front desk reception skills
4. Knowledge of basic medical terminology
5. Familiarity with EMR systems
6. Understanding of HIPAA regulations
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment
8. Experience with multi-line phone systems
9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
