Welcome!
Mat-Su Midwifery is a free-standing birth center, midwifery clinic and educational facility. We support the apprenticeship model of education for those desirous of becoming Alaska state licensed midwives.
We are a team of licensed midwives with a broad range of experience and skill. We offer services including prenatal massage, chiropractic and physical therapy referral, infant massage and lactation consultation. We teach nutrition classes and birth preparation classes during your pregnancy to inform you of your baby's and your body's needs during this incredible time in your life.
Our prenatal appointments are designed to answer your questions and equip you for the awesome task of childbirth. We are dedicated to the empowerment of mothers and fathers in this culture at a time when infant/parent bonding is essential to lasting family relationships. All of the midwives at Mat-Su Midwifery love our jobs!

You can reach us at the clinic Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours Mat-Su Midwifery forwards telephone calls from the office to the answering service, so you will reach us by calling the office, even during non business hours at 907 373-3420.
